To achieve this objective, we have put together a team of Nigerians that have distinguished themselves in accountancy and related services, banking and management information systems.

These include;

Olaolu Olabimtan
(B.Sc. Accounting, MBA, FCTI, FCA, ACCA, CPA, CFE, CFAN, AICPA Certified IFRS Expert)
Managing Partner/CEO

Olaolu has the B.Sc. Accounting and the M.B.A Finance degrees of the University of Lagos. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He passed the qualifying examinations at first sitting in 1990.

He is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and an associate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the United Kingdom.

Olaolu is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Forensic Accountant and is also certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as an IFRS expert. Olaolu is also a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada and practices as well in our Canadian subsidiary; O O & Co Professional Services.

He trained with KPMG and AWD before moving on to Price Waterhouse Coopers thereby acquiring world-class experiences at both trainee and senior levels in three out of the big four in the industry. Olaolu has also acquired vast experience in the financial services sector, having worked with five renowned banks and rising to general management cadre in the industry.

He is very versatile with soft wares and is indeed an expert in several banking, accounting, auditing and ERM soft wares.
He has attended many courses in Nigeria and overseas including the Advance Corporate Accounts Management Course of Servexcel India and the Executive Development Programme of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Hakeem Kareem

Hakeem holds the B.sc Accounting degree of the Oxford Brookes university, Oxford UK. He is an associate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the United Kingdom and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Hakeem is also an associate of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and is certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria as an IFRS expert.
Hakeem has acquired vast experience in the accounting profession both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, thereby having local and international Knowledge.
He also has experience in the retail and mortgage industry, having worked with Pinnacle consulting in the UK.

Olubusola Olabimtan
(MBA, ACA, ACFE, ACTI, ACCA, CPA)
Managing Partner – Canadian Office

Olubusola trained with Akin Taiwo and Co and KPMG where she acquired world-class experience in the industry.
Olubusola has also acquired vast experience in the Oil and Gas and Financial sectors, having worked with Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited and Omegabank Plc.

Olubusola has the M.B.A Finance degree of the University of Abuja. She is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants of the United Kingdom.

Olubusola who is also a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada currently runs our Canadian subsidiary; O O & Co Professional Services.

Simon Adeolu Olabimtan
(M.Sc, ACII, Diploma, CFP)
Director

Adeolu has the Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Business Development & Innovation of the University of Ulster and a Diploma in Corporate Events Marketing of Communication and Management Institute in Ireland.
He is an associate member, Insurance & Risk Management of The Chartered Insurance Institute of the United Kingdom.
He also has the International Certificate in Financial Planning of The Chartered Insurance Institute of the United Kingdom.

Adeolu is a dynamic results-oriented business development and account management professional with over 10 years’ experience managing new business acquisition and customer retention across the FMCG, IT software and business services (events) industry sectors.

In addition to excellent relationship marketing skills, he also possesses strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and a proven track record in managing, developing and motivating teams to achieve their objectives.

Adeolu has a balanced track record of conforming to established corporate structures and of possessing the entrepreneurial flair required in moving business startups from the conceptual stage to sustainable “go-to-market” utilizing lean resources.

Olakunle Akibola

Olakunle is a Senior IT/Telecoms executive with outstanding International Sales, Business Development, Project and Account management track record of more than 20 years, which has been gained working in the Vendor, Operator, Consultancy and System Integrator environments, supported by very strong technical knowledge of IT/Telecoms networks and a B.Sc. in Physics.

Olakunle started his career as a UNIX Administrator with Electronic on Line Systems (UK) giving him solid foundation in understanding what IT across business is all about. He then went on to work for Hewlett Packard (HPUK) as a pre-sales consultant. After 5 years of high-end IT with EOS and HP he worked for Alcatel Fraud Management Group (UK) for 6 years as first an implementation engineer, then a Project Manager, then an Account Manager and finally a Program Manger combing a number of roles delivering projects all over the world from Brazil to Estonia including Globacom in Nigeria. Time with Alcatel gave him unparalleled Telecoms experience.

Olakunle then wanted a taste of other side of Telecoms, after 6 years with Alcatel he worked for Meteor Mobile Communications (Dublin) a Telecom Operator in Dublin, Ireland for a year as a project manager implementing their first Fraud Management Solution; he also started their first Revenue Assurance initiative.

After 1 year in Dublin Olakunle came back to the UK as Sales Director for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) for Connectiva Systems.

Olakunle has a BSc. in Physics, UNIX certification from City University London, attended many courses and acquired several certifications working for the likes of HP and Alcatel.

Olakunle joined Olaolu Olabimtan & Co as a Director/Consultant in April 2014.
